every night, im doing one or two or sometimes three of these things, in order of frequency:
- attending classes
- bits and pieces of assignments
- checking up lecture updates on the website
- netball training or competitions
- catching up / hanging out with friends
- clearing stuffs in the wardrobe and/or cupboard, or every possible areas my stuffs could be
- any other ad hocs stuffs i consider get it done before its too late to sleep
by that, i mean, time to SLEEP.
my sleeping hours are usually 3-5hours now on weekdays. while the day can start as early as 630, the night ends in the wee morning of 1-2ish. sometimes the timing stretches. my last was 4am, when i submitted my eca before its due time at noon. going to work a couple of hours after that, was crazy.
it doesnt differ much on weekends. im used to sleeping late and waking up early. nevertheless, i always look forward to weekends. i look forward to doing nothing during the day but to stay in and catch up on sleep and korean shows. i used to use weekends to pay back the loss of sleep accumulated since i can remember it. but now, i realized, paying back sleep will never be enough! i will always lack of sleep for some reason or another.
for me, its okay to not head out to town, bugis or anywhere nowadays. staying in works just fine. its like im wasting the day by doing absolutely nothing. but if the wasted day is a day of rest, why not? just lay in bed, toss and turn. nap, wake up, nap again. repeat until someone screams for u to get out of bed.
im sure im not the only one who is lacking of sleep. especially those like me, who are working during the day and schooling in the night. i feel you all. we can do this! aja aja fighting!
no, just because we are weary from having such-likes commitments at the moment, we do not give any attitude or show sulky faces when we're out with families and friends. we understand that good company is necessary for a good time together. we are not party spoilers, for sure!
after all that digression, i stick to my point - i need sleep.
uninterrupted.
