this syawal 1434 - i had one achievement. maybe its no biggie, but i did something that i am very grateful i did. i had a syawal outing with my girlfriends of fifteen year, ie my secondary girls.
here's why i say its an achievement:
each time we arranged for an outing, i was almost never able to make for those meetups. reason being, i had classes to attend or assgts to work on. if i actually was able to catch up with them, i had to leave early because there was always some plans that i cannot run away from.
its worse when in the whatsapp groupchat, i had to hold back all proposed dates and plans, simply because i dont know if i am available on that day. it got to the extent that i apologized to them because i know its frustrating on their end to have to wait for me. imagine having four other ladies catering to your one need. its frustrating for me too that i am unable to confirm anything with them earlier.
they joked that they always have to book my dates wayyy in advance; and oh boy, i am so so sooo apologetic. its not that i want to hinder our gathering plans, but really, choice and time were not quite on my side for now.
despite all these waiting, delayed dates and me not attending our meetups sometimes, these ladies are such understanding people; i hope they don't hold any grudges. they never fail to involve me when the next meetup dates are. every single one of them are very accommodating, never failed to ask how i am doing and never once cast me away. they are very excited about projecthun too!
for this, i am very thankful i managed to squeeze my time for them this syawal.
thats why i say its an achievement - i achieved to spend my time with my ladies of fifteen years.
much love to these girls :)
