it was a veryyy decent one, i must say.
head-speared by the FaeO's elder sister, the bridesmaids and i had only two weeks to pull this party off. while the eldest sister booked the club suite for us, Team Bridesmaids had to do decor, food and find images to suit the given theme - English Tea Party.
it suits the btb because, well, she is the kind of person who is always in dresses and heels and have chillax
the decor team was to spruce the room with spring flowers, teacups and teapots, englishy-stuffs basically. i say God bless Daiso for all the
we had a massive spread of the different tea flavors, ranging from TWG Tea to Lipton.
the case containing the teabags was actually one of my engagement gifts from le fmil. it had been on the showcase in my room ever since and finally had its one-time use for FaeO's tea party! hahah.
the btb chose TWG's The Silver Moon Tea and The Grand Wedding Tea.
The Food Department made sure no one went hungry that night.
we had food and desserts from mainly TWG, Twelve Cupcakes, Windowsill Pies (really awesome Pecan Pie!!) and The Shepherd Pie. other add-ons were biscuits and chips from here and there.
we chatted so much and we were full from all the laughter and giggles and games we played.
i remembered i had masks which we can use as props. add a few word cards, and voila! our own mini photobooth!
we gave advice for the bride-to-be, leaving kisses behind so she can guess who's who. messages range from motherly to kinky! naiseee.
of course, so does the gifts for her! there were her favorite stuffs like Pandora and handbags, and she got a couple lacey lingerie for use. ahaah!
all of us went home happy that night - we had door gifts! and because there were a lot of prizes to give away, each of us got about two, three if we won in earlier games!
prizes range from chocs to teacup set to perfumes and a headset! all sponsored by the good sister of the bride-to-be! :)
told ya it was a no-nonsense party, which is exactly the bride-to-be herself.
but of course, there were little dirtyyy teases, definitely.
