"just this one."

this year, i made a pinspired 2015 Memory Jar, in hopes to keep my innermost feelings and thoughts that i don't share with the social media and people around me.
i remembered Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind's quote very fondly: "Please let me keep this memory, just this one."

well, not that i'm just gonna keep one. but i suppose i can make this habit as one of my 2015 resolutions - to keep whatever emotions and memories [written] so i won't forget them.

here is my simplified inspired memory jar:

actually more like a container or even a tupperware. hahaha.

i've had a few entries in it, mostly handwritten. because (1) i think handwritten posts are rather valuable and sincere, and (2) i can't be typing and printing every little thoughts so i might as well just write them. my handwriting, however, is oh so cannot make it. thats why i prefer to make short notes. unless of course, if its a super duper long heartfelt entry which i might as well type it out, print and then keep it inside the jar.

the first month of 2015 had been good, and its only natural to have ups and downs. i mean thats married life right? i'm constantly hoping and praying things will get better, but at the same time sometimes even hopes are frail. not that things are all bad at the moment. but well, we do have not so nice days too. all i can do is move along, move forward and just keep swimming moving.

the jar's contents are not negative and dull. i wrote about gratitudes and contented matters too. i have good days too; delightful stuffs that happened. definitely i'd want to keep even the memories and days that I'm thankful and grateful. my entries are not separated by colors, so i'd just use any color as i feel like it. just to be fair; else i might only read happy coded colors in future.

for those elated happening, i hope to keep the happiness so the next time i read them, i'd be smiling silly. for those tough days and emotions, i hope they'd would go away together with the words i wrote.

so that the next i look back on those notes, i'd be able to tell myself, "i got over that emoshit."
